Dollar General robbed in Jackson County, police say

VANDERCOOK LAKE, MI – A Dollar General store in Vandercook Lake was robbed Wednesday night, police said.

Jackson County sheriff’s deputies responded to the Dollar General, 811 E. McDevitt Ave., at 10:11 p.m., Dec. 23, police said.

A man shoved the clerk and took money from a cash register, before fleeing, police said. No one was injured.

Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who is pictured on the sheriff’s office Facebook page.
